Concentrate
All-season performance,
16-oz. treats up to 100 gallons. Lowers diesel fuel
gel point by 20° to 30° F, depending on mix
ratio. Improves the performance, fuel efficiency and
longevity of diesel engines while reducing deposits,
black smoke, emissions and injector wear.
For use in heavy-duty
diesel engines. (Such as Mack, Freightliner, and Peterbilt).

Boosts Fuel Economy and Power
AMSOIL Diesel Fuel Additive
Concentrate keeps fuel system passages and orifices open,
allowing better fuel flow, fuel atmoization and combustion
for improved fuel economy and power. Laboratory and over-the-road
testing shows the detergent in AMSOIL Diesel Fuel Additive
Concentrate provides fuel economy increases betweeen 2.6 percent
and 6.6 percent.
Cleans, Protects Entire System
Standard tests show AMSOIL Diesel
Fuel Additive Concentrate provides outstanding cleanliness,
corrosion inhibition, sludge inhibition, and lubricity. By
cleaning, conditioning and protecting injectors, pumps, filters,
tanks and lines, AMSOIL Diesel Fuel Additive Concentrate helps
the entire fuel system last longer and work more efficiently.
Cleanliness -
Superior injector cleanliness reduces the frequency of injector
maintenance and consequent downtime.
Corrosion Inhibition
- Superior protection against the corrosive effects
of water, which condenses from the atmosphere during fuel
storage, maintains the integrity of injectors, tanks, pumps
and lines.
Sludge Inhibition -
Superior dispersency keeps sludge from settling on filters
and tank bottoms.
Lubricity -
Superior friction modification reduces the incidence of metal-to-metal
contact in pumps, injectors and other fuel systems components,
protecting them from wear, even with low sulfur fuels.
Reduces Emissions
The emissions-reducing agent
in AMSOIL Diesel Fuel Additive Concentrate has been shown
to reduce emissions of hydrocarbon, oxides of nitrogen, carbon
monoxide and particulate matter as much as 20 percent.
Improves Fuel Flow
By reducing wax crystal size
and precipitation, AMSOIL Diesel Fuel Additive Concentrate
lowers pour point as much as 35° F and cold filter plug
point as much as 12° F, enhancing the reliability of cold
starting and allowing engines to start at colder temperatures
than they otherwise could.
AMSOIL Diesel Fuel Additive
Concentrate also contains a jet fuel de-icer which lowers
the freeze point of ice crystals, inhibiting fuel line freeze-up
and further enhancing the reliablity of cold starting.

An Ontario Drive Clean Program
heavy duty diesel vehicle emissions tester exclaimed, “I
have never seen an opacity level so low,” when he tested
the 1996 GMC Topkick truck with a 3116 Caterpillar engine
owned by C&T Reinforcing Steel.
To what does C&T attribute
their low emissions? To consistent use of AMSOIL Diesel Fuel
Additive Concentrate (ADC).
How low is low? The test limit
is set at 40 percent opacity, and most heavy duty diesels
run about 20 percent opacity. The C&T truck tested out
at 0.4 percent!
How does ADC do the job? ADC
maintains fuel injector cleanliness, which keeps emissions
and black smoke to a minimum. It also keeps fuel efficiency
high, injector wear low and performance at its peak. ADC reduces
diesel fuel gel points buy 20° to 30° F, enabling
No.1 fuel to replace costly No.2 fuel well into the cold months
for many truckers.
Use one 16-oz can of ADC per
100 gallons diesel fuel. For use in heavy duty diesel engines
only.
